With Coach and Bus Live now a week ago already, it seems fitting to give an overview of our time there.

We went all out this year with a really exceptional stand, providing golf fun and a wide range of refreshments.

The golf simulator was a huge success, proving a very popular attraction over the two days. It’s undeniable that our stand was extremely popular, with crowds of people coming to watch and have a go at the golf to be in the chance of winning the first or second prizes. With the winners still yet to be announced, nearest to the pin wins a luxury bottle of Moët and the lucky runner up will receive a large bottle of brandy! We really enjoyed chatting to each and every person who took the time to come and say hello to us.

Wednesday evening came the routeOne awards ceremony and the start of a very special evening for FCL. Prior to the official routeOne event, we hosted the first ever FCL Organisation Platinum Lounge – an exclusive, invitation only drinks reception. This was also a great success and a truly memorable event. We would like to thank all of our guests for coming along and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

On Thursday our very special guest Toby Somers arrived! Toby is a lovely little boy who is a great lover of buses. He spends most of his weekends riding around Northampton on Stagecoach buses. With help from Stagecoach Midlands, we treated the guest of honour to a fun day out at the Coach and Bus Show Live. He was presented with a years free bus pass by Stagecoach and treated to a VIP tour of the buses on display. He managed to charm everyone he met with his enthusiasm for buses and even had an article written about his time there in routeOne magazine!
