FCL Organisation hosted the Association of Local Bus Company Managers (ALBUM) Meeting on the 26-27th January at their Head Office in Northampton. The two day meeting organised by Ken Hawkins of Thamesdown Transport was attended by over 30 Directors and Senior Staff of bus companies including Go Ahead London, Nottingham City Transport, Ipswich Buses and Reading Buses and key OEMs including Volvo, Scania, Wrightbus and ADL.
The meeting provided a platform to allow committee members to discuss legal and commercial compliances and best practice. Members were introduced to several cost effective products to help keep their fleets efficient. The final day saw FCL Organisation launch ecoFit, the all new plug ‘n’ play OBD tool that optimises original manufacturer’s settings within the vehicles control modules to improve fuel economy and gear change, followed by a Q&A session and a tour of the warehouse.
The evening dinner was organised by FCL Organisation and hosted at the Red Lion pub at Denton.
Sales and Marketing Director at FCL Organisation, James Hudson praised the event “We are really pleased with how well it went, it was positively received by all committee members and hailed a great success. We hope to host more events like this throughout the year and give opportunities for members of the bus industry to network and be introduced to new products in the market.”
