Blue Diamond Filters By Filtration Control
Significantly greater filter life than a traditional paper media engine filter, up to 250,000 miles greater. Initial efficiency in excess of 99%, using J26 test procedures on coarse dust. Filter life is up to 4 times the life of a paper filter in heavy dust contaminated environments and up to 6 times the life in carbon and soot environments.
Filters have closed cell foam seals for better sealing when fitting and can be produced with integral lids for ease of fitment. Not affected at all by carbon and moisture, unlike paper. Designed, developed and manufactured by Filtration Control, our range of extended life reticulated polyurethane filters called the Blue Diamond are fully compliant with the latest EN fire regulation certification – EN45545-2, A reticulated open cell polyester based polyurethane foam. The fully open cell structure provides a high degree of air permeability, making the media ideal for air filtration . The thermal reticulation process results in a homogeneous three – dimensional cellular structure, with precise pore size. The media is fully resistant to mild acids and alkalis, fuel, organic chemicals, oils, lubricants, soaps and detergents.
