On Tuesday 2nd October Lady Juliet Townsend the Lord Lieutenant of Northampton representative of HM the Queen for the county of Northamptonshire visited FCL’s Head office and presented the Queens Award to the FCL Directors, an engraved crystal rose bowl with a charter signed Elizabeth and David Cameron.
Each member of staff was then presented with a crystal decanter which was engraved with the queen’s award emblem and their name. Each of the 115 decanters were numbered according to their years of service.
The 5 longest serving members are Andy Muddiman, Sarah Boot, Jo Steward, Di Law and John Hawes. Between them they have a staggering 150 years of service.
Managing Director, Deryck and his wife are meeting the Queen, Prince Phillip and David Cameron at Buckingham Palace in early November.
